I just ordered mine, first PPC I ever had. The one thing I've noticed from your video is lacking of any kind of sticker that we can put on our cases. This is strange, a specially for the value of that system/motherboard. Also, I placed order on 22.07 and the motherboard is not shipped yet from Luxembourg, that's another kind of joke.

It doesn't sound like none of the business people in charge at Commodore and at Atari knew what they were doing. Tramiel from what I read operated Commodore like a small business. He didn't have a vision, or a long term strategy. And then when he quit Commodore to buy and run Atari, his mindset was the same, i.e. short term thinking. The Commodore Amiga was a technological marvel but the business men at Commodore had no clue what to do with it. It's sad that today, computers are dominated by Windows. I wish Commodore and even Atari were still around.

Wonder if anyone ever completed this game...?

Its not new classic Amiga but Power PC. Vampir board is 68080 but not ATX format. I wait something like Vampir on ATX board.

My tape got damaged got all the tape chewed by the c64 could never get past the music screen tried multiple times watching the numbers count down praying it wouldn’t crash but always did 😔😔

my problem is this, it looks like theres been gearbox oil leek and when i undid the plug only about 2ltr have come out ,so i dont know whats in there still ,any ideas on how to proceed? im thinking maybe 2litrs at most still left in the workings of the box??..ALSO any other options on the oil or is it only zf lifeguard 6 which is really expensive

lots of peeps struggling with the oil filler plug ,cut down a 8mm alen key about 1/2 inch of the small end then it will fit without having drop box or take of support member ,if your crawling under car (no lift) line up a low profile trollyjack to the end of the alen key and pump jack couple times very slowly it will turn/free it EASY . good luck trying any other method .

We actually cannot see anything because the titles are in the way of everything. Also it looks like you had to remove the fan pack. Did you? If so how easy was this was it all looks very tight in there

There always seems to be a lack of Buster tests on these type of diagnostic ROMS, I guess there is some technical obstacle that prohibits this, as it's surely one of the main chips you would want to to establish is working properly on a big box Amiga across the Zorro BUS.

Doom had crap music, guitar riffs sucks.

C128 CP/M works well in conjuction with C64 CP/M cartridge. 1571's MFM capability cannot be used with C64 CP/M cartridge (unless someone does the special programming needed). However, C128 CP/M recognizes the C64 CP/M disk format and can be used to port software to C64 CP/M disks.

I would love to hear what the Amiga developers at the Developers Conference thought of this video at the time (assuming it was actually shown to them). While it is an interesting time capsule of 1988 at CBM (especially for Amiga fans), if I was a developer at the conference i would have been very unimpressed and possibly discouraged by this video. It was almost completely devoid of any information that anyone would have found helpful or interesting, the employees “interviewed” in it were obviously not told in advance about it, and with a few exceptions the people had nothing to say. The video production was very unprofessional feeling, and it would have difficult to not feel the same way about the departments they were highlighting (CATS, Commodore Amiga Technical Support?).
